Job Summary
What you will be working on
šSupport the development, implementation, and maintenance of an enterprise-wide risk management framework that identifies, measures, manages, and monitors key risks. šContribute to enterprise-wide risk assessments, including scenario analysis and stress testing. šEnsure processes are aligned with local regulatory requirements and industry best practices. šPolicy Oversight and Governance šDraft, review, and maintain risk management policies in line with regulatory standards. šProvide input into risk-related MI and reports for governance forums, including senior management and committees. šMonitoring and Reporting šCarry out periodic risk reviews and testing to ensure compliance with legislation and internal controls. šAssist with risk monitoring programmes, helping to identify and mitigate emerging risks. šPrepare clear and timely risk reports for internal stakeholders. šStakeholder Collaboration šWork with Compliance, Legal, and Finance to ensure strong alignment between risk management and broader regulatory objectives. šPartner with teams across the business to promote proactive risk awareness. šDeliver training and support to colleagues on risk topics when required. šRegulatory Engagement šSupport the Head of Risk in communications with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) and in preparing for regulatory reviews and audits.
What you will bring
šProven experience (5ā7 years) in risk management within financial services, fintech, or a regulated environment. šStrong knowledge of Irish and EU regulatory frameworks, including familiarity with CBI requirements. šExposure to enterprise risk management practices, including operational, market, and liquidity risk. šStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail. šStrong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders. šRelevant degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field (professional certifications such as PRM, FRM, or equivalent are a plus).
