Job Summary
Responsibilities
šDesign, build, and maintain high-impact real-time risk systems used daily by risk, traders, and executives, including: 24/5 live PnL tracking šVaR and other exposure calculations šWeb-based risk dashboards šInteractive and user-friendly analytical tools šEfficient and robust alerting system šCollaborate with the rest of the risk team to understand requirements, implement risk models, and ensure performance and scalability of the risk systems. šBuild responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces for visualizing and interacting with risk metrics. šOptimize system performance and reliability, ensuring low-latency and high-availability under real-time trading conditions. šWrite clean, well-documented, and tested code. šParticipate in code reviews and lead design discussions.
Requirements
š5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack developer in the financial industry, preferably within proprietary trading. šStrong proficiency in Python, especially for data processing, backend logic, and model integration. šExperience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue). šFamiliarity with real-time data visualization. šProficiency in SQL for querying large datasets, as well as a solid understanding of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL stores (e.g. Redis).
