Job Summary
Your Core Responsibilities
šDrive forward a rapidly growing research team that supports IMC's Equity Options trading business. šWork with experienced team members, senior traders, and senior management to continue building IMC's proprietary research platform and to guide research team to critically think about specific company analysis and the impact of that analysis on equity options market dynamics. šProvide traders with real-time news analysis, including the potential impact. šProvide critical feedback for traders and other analysts regarding company analysis and the potential impacts of those analyses. šConstruct possible outcomes for both short-and medium-term equity moving events. šKeep up to date with all major U.S. sectors, including biotech, healthcare, financials, energy, tech, and industrial. šUnderstand the possible risks for certain equity positions by providing due diligence on existing positions and keep abreast of major macro events. šWork alongside the trading team to analyze specific company events and manage risk associated with the expected impact of those events. šChallenge the status quo and help create a vision for the future of the IMC research team. š Senior Research Analyst (Requisition ID: 4424248101)
Your Skills and Experience
šThis position requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Financial Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Computational Mathematics, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. šAt least one (1) year of experience in the following skill(s) is required: šWorking side by side with the trading team to analyze specific company events and manage risk around the expected impact of those events šPerforming fundamental bottom-up analysis in global sectors šDeveloping quantitative models for global equity screening šPreparing and delivering research reports and investment presentations šContributing to equity market investment strategies šConducting fundamental equity research as part of an equity analyst team, including building, and maintaining financial models, conducting company and industry due diligence, and presenting actionable investment ideas
