Job Summary
Responsibilities
đź“ŤIndependently perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations between internal systems, bank records, and partner transaction reports. đź“ŤConduct in-depth analysis of discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution in coordination with banks, partners, and internal teams. đź“ŤMonitor high volumes of transactional data to detect and escalate inconsistencies or anomalies. đź“ŤContinuously improve reconciliation processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions for greater efficiency and accuracy. đź“ŤOwn and maintain reconciliation trackers, documentation, and reporting tools. đź“ŤCollaborate with key stakeholders in Operations, Finance, Product, and Compliance to ensure data integrity and smooth process handoffs. đź“ŤAssist in month-end and year-end closing activities and support internal and external audit requirements. đź“ŤPerform accounts payable and receivable analysis, as required. đź“ŤEscalate unresolved or complex issues to the Reconciliation Lead, with recommendations. đź“ŤMentor junior team members, if applicable.
Requirements
📍At least 2–4 years of experience in reconciliation, financial operations, or accounting — preferably in fintech, banking, or digital platforms. 📍Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to navigate and make decisions with incomplete or conflicting data. 📍Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. 📍Solid understanding of end-to-end reconciliation processes, financial controls, and reporting. 📍Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience. 📍Proficient in Google Workspace tools and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.) 📍Experience working with reconciliation tools or financial systems (ERP, ledger systems) is an advantage.
