Most crypto users for example those who own ETH or BNB are used to a single key wallet, often referred to as an externally owned account (EOA). Examples include; MetaMask, Trustwallet, Exodus etc. These accounts are secured with 12 word “seed phrase”, which can be transformed into a private key for the user. If that private key is compromised in any way, the funds can be stolen. If your project comprises of more than 1 person, an externally owned account is not a secure way to manage your business’s crypto funds If an employee goes rogue or is careless with the private key, the funds are gone forever. Even if your business is made up of just yourself, I’d argue it’s still a poor way to manage funds. So, what is the better solution? Enter the Multisig. What you will be doing:
📍You will take ownership of designing intuitive and valuable user experience for our users, solving complex UX problems, as well as enhancing existing features and improving design automation workflows 📍Take part in usability research activities together with our UX Researcher and Product Design Lead to better understand Safe{Wallet} users, their needs and wishes 📍Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers and other team members to assess technical feasibility, define acceptance criteria, and evaluate the value of solutions for both our users and the product. 📍Facilitate design thinking sessions, design sprints and design reviews 📍Develop storyboards, wireframes, low-fidelity sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designsto translate your ideas into feasible and impactful solutions 📍Help maintain and contribute to the Design System, as well as the public Design System created for the community of external designers and builders 📍Strive to find balance between beautiful and easy-to-use UI with user security and privacy in mind, when needed 📍Act as an expert of Product Design at Safe, by assisting team members with questions about usability, interaction design, design best practices and more.
What you will bring:
📍3+ years of experience in Product Design 📍Diverse portfolio showcasing your abilities to create solutions for complex and technical problems and your end-to-end design process 📍Active use or familiarity with web3 applications and decentralized technology or basic knowledge of blockchain 📍Understanding of design systems and experience building and/or maintaining them 📍Attention to detail and passion for design and craftsmanship 📍You are growth-minded and collaborative team player, able to communicate your design choices and insights to align members of various teams 📍Proficiency in Figma, optional: motion design, prototyping tools
