Job Summary

What you'll do:

šŸ“Help educate government officials, policymakers, regulators, central banks, and customers in the LATAM region on Rippleā€™s solutions and the companyā€™s role as a fintech service provider. šŸ“Lead and coordinate the work carried out by Ripple's external public policy consultants in the LATAM region. šŸ“Monitor regulatory and industry developments in the LATAM region to advise on potential impacts to Rippleā€™s product roadmap. šŸ“Represent Ripple and manage relationships with Trade Associations in Latin America. šŸ“Handle relationships with civil society organizations (Think Tanks) that Ripple partners with in the LATAM region. šŸ“Assist in drafting comment letters and white papers that advocate for responsible innovation and adoption of emerging payment technology. šŸ“Assist in drafting thought leadership pieces on issues related to digital asset adoption and financial policy. šŸ“Assist in developing and driving a regulatory engagement strategy supporting Rippleā€™s growth and presence in the LATAM region. šŸ“Assist in drafting Ripple's comments on public consultations and information requests made by regulators, central banks, and governments in LATAM. šŸ“Cross-functional collaboration and ownership, including working with nearly every team at Ripple.

What we're looking for:

šŸ“Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish required šŸ“JD degree preferred, and while not required would allow for greater interaction with the business team on commercial endeavors šŸ“MPP preferred, but not required. šŸ“10+ years of relevant experience working in tech, payments, and/or crypto related fields šŸ“The ideal candidate for this role has experience analyzing regulations and authorizing legislation as well as direct experience interacting with government officials šŸ“Excellent problem solving skills, judgment, communication and interpersonal skills šŸ“Excellent at collaborating with many contributors and cross-functional partners šŸ“Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines šŸ“Ability to present complex issues in a clear and concise manner (whether written or verbal) šŸ“Organized, meticulous, resourceful and flexible
