Job Summary
The opportunity
šBecome a key player in Krakenās global policy and government relations team, based in Washington, DC. šLead the development of our advocacy strategies that support Krakenās business goals and long-term mission. šShape and articulate Krakenās policy positions on digital assets, financial regulation, and emerging technologies. šRepresent Krakenās policy positions through engagement with policymakers, trade associations, think tanks, and other key external stakeholders. šRepresent Kraken in public forums, industry events, and regulatory roundtables. šBuild and maintain relationships with trade associations, think tanks, and industry coalitions to support coordinated advocacy. šCollaborate cross-functionally across our business with product, legal, communications, and engineering teams to accelerate Krakenās growth.
Skills you should HODL
š10+ years of direct experience with financial services policy, including Congressional experience. šStrong network within the U.S. policy community, particularly in Washington D.C., with a global mindset and ability to work seamlessly with team members across jurisdictions. šSolid understanding of digital assets markets and related policy and regulatory frameworks.
