Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

šŸ“Serving as product counsel on all US asset management ventures, including fund launches, strategic partnerships, new product development, and product listings. šŸ“Advise multiple business teams on emerging regulatory risks and opportunities as it relates to our US asset management business. šŸ“Taking the lead in advising on new product and fund launches in the US market, including new ETFs, private funds, and other regulated investment structures. šŸ“Advise on an SEC and NFA compliance program, including maintaining and administering policies, procedures, and controls. šŸ“Working with the product and engineering teams on new product and technology launches, including advising on cutting edge legal and regulatory issues impacting the cryptocurrency and blockchain industries. šŸ“Negotiating, drafting and advising on commercial contracts, including service provider agreements, index licenses, technology agreements, distribution agreements, and vendor contracts. šŸ“Managing external stakeholders, including external counsel and other key service providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

šŸ“A commercially minded, passionate, and fully qualified attorney admitted to practice in the US. šŸ“6+ years experience practicing law, including financial services laws. šŸ“Familiar with performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment. šŸ“A problem solver who is really excited to get things done! šŸ“Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders. šŸ“In-house experience is preferred but not required for the role. šŸ“Interest in digital assets and blockchain technology is a plus, though it is not required for the role.
