Job Summary
What you’ll do
📍Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances. 📍Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and credit card servicing including preparing and maintaining monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis. 📍Assist with compiling internal team requests and external audit requests. 📍Research important accounting issues and suggest best practices and applications in accordance with accounting standards. 📍Work cross functionally with tax, technical accounting and business systems teams 📍Establish accounting processes for consolidations and transfer pricing, including providing stakeholders with accounting requirements and setting up monthly accounting processes. 📍Work with various departments to streamline data flow and processes. 📍Assist with system automation projects as needed.
What you bring
📍Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 📍3-5 years of total experience, preferably combined in public accounting and industry 📍Understanding of GAAP standards 📍Strong analytical and organizational skills 📍Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets 📍Hands-on experience in the financial close process (preferred) 📍Experience with foreign entity accounting and consolidations
