Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

šŸ“Develop, maintain, and enhance the companyā€™s compliance program to ensure the firm's supervision and controls meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices šŸ“Regularly, and proactively, assess and report on the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures, and recommend improvements šŸ“Manage a robust conflicts of interest framework to identify, communicate, and mitigate potential conflicts within the organization šŸ“Maintain a thorough understanding of securities laws and regulations that pertain to the companyā€™s diverse range of digital asset-focused products and capabilities; synthesize key findings and recommendations to key internal stakeholders šŸ“Hire and develop global compliance team with requisite domain expertise aligned with our organizational and geographic focus šŸ“Serve as primary counterpart to regulatory agencies globally (e.g., FCA, SEC) šŸ“Foster and maintain a culture of compliance, including ownership and development of our internal compliance training program to educate employees on regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures šŸ“Evaluate, recommend and deploy new technologies to drive efficiencies and automation in the compliance program across the organization šŸ“Oversee regulatory registrations and ongoing filing requirements šŸ“Represent the company in due diligence meetings with existing and prospective investors

Skill Set and Qualifications:

šŸ“8+ years in Compliance role, including significant experience working at a hedge fund or traditional investment manager regulated in the UK by the FCA Bachelorā€™s degree; Law degree a plus but not required šŸ“Demonstrated commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards šŸ“Expert in assessing and navigating complex regulatory requirements and translating into practical, business-enabling solutions šŸ“Experience with digital assets and blockchain preferred; passion for, and ability to successfully navigate, the rapidly evolving digital asset ecosystem is a must šŸ“Strong leadership and interpersonal skills šŸ“Ability to communicate with stakeholders efficiently and effectively at all levels across the organization šŸ“Strong problem-solving and organizational skills šŸ“Self-starter, roll up your sleeveā€™s mentality šŸ“Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment šŸ“Detail oriented, process-obsessed
