Job Summary
What You’ll Be Doing
📍Design and implement compliance monitoring activities that evaluate the effectiveness of first-line controls, with a focus on automation and data-driven insights where possible. 📍Lead and execute testing reviews, including thematic, deep-dive, or risk-based reviews aligned to our annual compliance testing plan. 📍Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to scope reviews, agree on remediation, and track findings to resolution. 📍Develop and maintain testing methodologies, procedures, and templates in line with industry best practices and regulatory expectations. 📍Provide actionable insights from monitoring results to enhance control design and operational effectiveness. 📍Support the refinement of key compliance metrics and dashboards tied to M&T outcomes. 📍Contribute to annual planning, regulatory exam readiness, and internal audit liaison efforts as needed. 📍Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global regulatory requirements and apply them contextually to business activities. 📍Assist with other related duties as needed.
What We Look For In You
📍4+ years of experience in a second line of defense Monitoring & Testing or Audit role within financial services, fintech, or crypto 📍Strong knowledge of control testing principles, methodologies, and documentation standards 📍Hands-on experience designing or operating automated monitoring routines (e.g. data-driven scripts, continuous control monitoring) is a strong advantage. 📍Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g. AML, market conduct, sanctions, product compliance) and risk frameworks 📍Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to challenge constructively.
