Job Responsibilities:

📍Perform month-end close activities including processing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, audit schedules, etc. 📍Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts consistent with GAAP and corporate accounting policies. 📍Assists the team with audits and research related to supplier/customer invoices, month-end accruals, and reconciliations 📍Assist on special projects & ad hoc assignments as needed 📍Help support overall team initiatives to embrace change and increase efficiency by instituting new processes around various key accounting areas 📍Performs other duties as assigned or dictated by business needs.

Qualifications:

📍Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 📍Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience 📍Comprehensive understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) 📍Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Advanced, Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Conditional formulas) 📍High level of dedication to adhering to deadlines and attention to detail. 📍Proven ability to work with minimal direction, as well as be resourceful and independent in solving problems. 📍Excellent organizational and communication skills 📍High regard for confidentiality and 100% data integrity 📍Familiarity working with Finance systems; NetSuite, ADP, Mineraltree, is a plus
