Job Summary
Responsibilities
šEnsures the integrity and completeness of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions šPrepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. šMaintains general ledger šManage accounting processes and bookkeep šMaintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocatingšMaintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries. šSummarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements. šMaintain relations with state authorities (ANAF, DGITL) šCompletes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors šAssist with tax audits and other audits that may arise šDirect internal and external audits to ensure compliance šCoordinate month-end and year-end close process šPerform, review BS reconciliations and o monthly basis šEnsure is up to date with any changes in policies, principles under RAS/IFRS and Tax šEnsures any changes/updates to accounting systems are done properly and in due time (E-factura, SAF-T, etc) šAnnual inventory process owner and first lead
Qualifications
šProven experience as a accountant for min 4 years šThorough knowledge of accounting procedures šUnderstanding Local Accounting Principles and Tax šExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process šHands-on experience with accounting software packages, experience with Saga šAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables, sumifs, countifs etc, Word and PowerPoint šSelf-driven, results oriented, can-do attitude, ability to adapt to changes šDemonstrated ability to think critically and analytically
