Key Responsibilities:

📍Accounting: 📍Process Journal Transactions. 📍Maintain and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts. 📍Ensure that the account balances and bank statements are accurately reconciled. 📍Participate in the monthly close process, ensuring that all journal entries and account reconciliations assigned are completed accurately and on time. 📍Analyze financial information and provide insights to management. Accounts Payable and Receivable: 📍Support the accounts payable and receivable functions. 📍Manage the process of invoicing customers, collecting payments, and managing vendor payments. 📍Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Compliance and Auditing: 📍Ensure compliance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies. 📍Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. 📍Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Financial Analysis: 📍Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions. 📍Identify areas for cost reductions and operational improvements. System Improvements: 📍Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 📍Participate in system upgrades and integration of new systems and technologies, including process automation initiatives.

Experience, skills & stack required:

📍Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 📍Advanced Excel skills: Pivot tables, Array formulas. 📍US GAAP knowledge. 📍Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience. 📍Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 📍Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 📍Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 📍Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with a diverse team. 📍Preference to experience in QuickBooks Online. 📍Fluency in English (also Spanish is desirable)
