Job Summary
What you’ll be doing
📍Implement new and extend existing UI systems to meet the Creative 📍Directors vision and intent of the game’s design and player experience. 📍Work closely with art and design leads and teams to ensure that UI meets aesthetic and functional requirements. 📍Optimize and fix bugs in existing UI systems 📍Contribute ideas toward all aspects of the game’s production and development. 📍Writing robust, maintainable code 📍Assist other team members with their work while managing your own workload, you will also be able to take ownership and responsibility for any critical issue that arises in your time zone to facilitate a quick resolution. 📍Communicate with your lead and the production department, to provide frequent updates and time estimates for your areas of responsibility.
About you
📍5+ years combined commercial games industry experience at other AAA game development studios. 📍Exceptional C++ programming skills and object-oriented design principles. 📍At least 1 published PC, or high-end mobile online game 📍Fully experienced with the programming challenges related to UI development. 📍Unreal Engine development experience 📍Familiar with all tools used in day-to-day game development (Bug tracking software, communication tools, version control software 📍Knowledge of gameplay, networking, rendering, and other systems impacting quality and performance
