Job Summary
A typical day for you might be:
📍 Researching and reporting on the best path forward for EVM runtime, sequencer, and consensus layer decisions around design, implementation, and decentralisation 📍Working with our backend engineers on implementing the EVM runtime and its enhancements 📍Helping our CTO design and architect the full backend stack to run WeaveVM
We're looking for:
📍 5 years of experience, with 2 years spent on the inner workings of EVM systems 📍Proficiency with Rust, Solidity, and the Ethereum toolchain (Hardhat, Foundry, etc.) 📍Familiarity with GoLang 📍An understanding of the architecture of geth, reth, and other low-level EVM software 📍A proven track record of contributions to open source projects 📍Willingness to argue your case and brainstorm over key architectural desicions 📍(Optional) Experience working in an engineering role at an L1/L2 in the past
