Job Summary
What you'll do:
šManage the lifecycle of software components šProvide front-line response to incidents and outages šManage and resolve issues with a high degree of technical complexity šImplement configuration changes šDevelop and support tools to facilitate changes by non-technical teams šCreate tools to automate configuration management, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting šAssist the trading services team through the onboarding and conformance process for new counterparties šGive technical backup to the trading services team responding to internal and external support requests šCreate tools to assist in the analysis of data collected through the trading system šHelp plan the long-term roadmap for the trading systems, from capacity to tools to software features šWork with developers to design and implement features in the trading system šOther duties as assigned or needed
Skills you'll need:
šAt least 5+ years experience supporting a production trading environment šExperience supporting trading counterparties šA rigorous, detail-oriented approach to operations and incident management šStrong python and/or Go as well as shell scripting; familiarity with C++ šFamiliarity with REST and/or gRPC and a desire to identify and eliminate toil through automation šExperience with devops/CICD tools such as Jenkins, ansible, git Good knowledge of FIX protocol šAdvanced Linux and network troubleshooting skills (TCP/IP and multicast) šKnowledge of high-availability techniques to ensure availability, including failover strategies, redundancy, and DR planning. Experience with load balancing solutions such as HAProxy šReliable and predictable availability
