Job Summary
Role
šWeāre looking for an experienced product leader to join as a Product Manager for Trust and Safety to build platforms, tools and experiences that will keep our community safe and enhance the user journey. You will work on a unique set of problems across community and commerce to detect, prevent and mitigate trust & safety risks on our platform, and inform our platform policies and operational processes. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams including product, engineering, operations, policy, data science, and legal. We are looking for someone who has a strong bias towards action, is excited to work in an ambiguous problem space, and wants to build 0 ā 1 solutions and systems from scratch. šTake responsibility for leading the companyās T&S product strategy. šDevelop and own the product roadmap and strategy for this area, balancing short and long-term goals. šEngage regularly as a trusted advisor with leadership to understand their strategies, pain points, and priorities to inform product strategy, while providing transparency into roadmaps and managing expectations. Trust is horizontal. You need to be as well. šRoll up your sleeves to define product requirements & work with engineering, data science, operations, policy and broader team to bring our roadmap to market at lightning speed. šUnderstand that our Enforcement SOPs and Policies are products and manage them to balance customer and business outcomes šDo whatever it takes to ensure the cross functional team is operating effectively, unblock them and make sure they can move at a rapid pace. šAnalyze competitors and industry trends to advance our products and drive innovation. šTake ownership of any major blocker to the companyās success. šDrive strategic initiatives across the company. šUplevel the Whatnot Product Management function as a whole. šTeam members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA, Vancouver, BC or New York, NY hubs
