WHAT YOU’LL DO:

📍Develop and execute communications strategies to achieve Ripple public policy, regulatory and advocacy objectives in APAC and EMEA. 📍Maintain and build relationships with tier-1 media outlets to advance Ripple’s policy agenda; regularly communicate Ripple’s policy and regulatory priorities to the press. 📍Draft and oversee the review process for press releases, talking points, messaging documents and other internal and external communications, seeing each through to completion. 📍Interact directly with Ripple’s leaders, policymakers and industry influencers. 📍Support media training for company executives, conduct spokesperson training prior to interviews and provide presentation support for speaking engagements. 📍Manage agency relationships.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

📍7+ years of relevant communications experience working on public policy issues for a technology company and/or public affairs agency. 📍An understanding of the policy and regulatory landscape impacting cryptocurrency innovation in EMEA and APAC. 📍Experience tracking policy developments and implementing campaigns around complex policy and regulatory items. 📍Established relationships with media contacts and demonstrated success with media relations. 📍Skilled at planning, prioritizing and executing in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail. 📍Excellent at project management that requires collaborating with many contributors. 📍Ability to draft focused messaging and content for press-related materials like press releases, executive briefing documents, press kits, and blog posts. 📍Smart, energetic and relentless in the pursuit of moving the needle. 📍Serious attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. 📍Excellent verbal and written communications skills. 📍In-house experience in tech, digital payments and/or the cryptocurrency landscape is a big plus, but not required.
