Job Summary
What you’ll do:
📍Lead oversight of central operations and associated technology risks, including transaction processes, asset and exchange monitoring risks. 📍Collaborate with Bitpanda’s CISO teams regarding software development, governance, architecture, and roadmap/planning, in alignment with Bitpanda’s Risk Management Framework. 📍Act as the point of contact for Bitpanda’s technology and operations teams, helping them identify, treat, monitor, and report technology and transaction processing risks. 📍Perform control monitoring and oversight (including testing where needed) at planned intervals to assess effective control implementation, and advise risk owners on assessment and treatment of identified risks. 📍Coordinate risk and control assessments, oversee relevant events or incidents, participate in audit engagements as needed, and support senior management in aligning IT and Operations Risk governance with organisational goals.
Who you are:
📍5+ years experience in financial services or financial technology, managing risk and control activities, and possessing strong knowledge of non-financial risk management, related processes, and frameworks.
