Job Summary

Responsibilities. What you’ll do:

📍Translator (Japanese to English & vice versa): 60% 📍Translate Documents: 📍Accurately translate a variety of documents, including emails, reports, and project-related materials from Japanese to English and vice versa while upholding the highest quality standards. Interpretation: 📍Provide live interpretation support from English to Japanese and vice-versa with finesse. Communication Bridge: 📍Serve as a bridge between Japanese and English-speaking teams, facilitating effective communication and ensuring clarity in project-related discussions. Localization: 📍Assist in the localization of content, ensuring cultural nuances are accurately conveyed in translations 📍Provide support during meetings, conferences, and discussions to ensure seamless communication. Quality Assurance: 📍Conduct thorough proofreading and quality assurance to maintain high standards of accuracy in translations. 📍Operations Specialist / Project Manager: 40% 📍Cross-Functional Collaboration: 📍Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project / studio objectives with organizational goals. 📍Support Office related projects, organization of meetings, HR & Administration initiatives. 📍Collaborate on recruitment efforts, participating in interviews and contributing your linguistic prowess to the process. 📍Play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of company events, showcasing your knack for detail. Documentation: 📍Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project analyses. Vendor Management: 📍Manage relationships with external vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring deliverables meet project specifications.

Requirements. Who you are and what you’ve done

📍 Proven experience in live interpretation and document translations, preferably in a business or technical context. 📍Exceptional proficiency in English and Japanese with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 📍Project management experience, overseeing end-to-end project lifecycles. 📍Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams. 📍A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work. 📍Prior exposure to game localization and project management is highly advantageous. 📍Enthusiastic about being an integral part of a dynamic game development company.
