Job Summary
Your Responsibilities
đź“ŤDesign, configure, and support global latency-optimized network infrastructure for a blockchain network. đź“ŤSupport and troubleshoot a wired high-performance network environment đź“ŤTake an automated, data-driven approach to diagnosing and solving complex network infrastructure issues such as micro-bursting, jitter, and queuing. đź“Ťand project manage global network initiatives from requirements gathering, design review, implementation, deployment, and documentation. đź“ŤDevelop automation tools and take a DevOps approach to improve network management efficiency, deployment, and maintenance of blockchain applications.
Desired Skills and Experience:
đź“ŤExperience supporting a large-scale global network environment đź“ŤBackground developing extremely low-latency networking infrastructure, e.g., for high-frequency trading đź“ŤAdvanced knowledge and troubleshooting of IP networking, TCP/ IP đź“ŤAdvanced knowledge of Switching, Routing (BGP, OSPF) and Multicast (IGMP, PIM) đź“ŤExperience working with one or more of the following hardware platforms (Cisco, Mellanox, Arista) đź“ŤExperience with scripting languages (Python preferred) and expertise with git and REST or JSON đź“ŤExperience working with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) đź“ŤExperience with databases and big data tools (i.e. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Splunk, InfluxDB, Grafana). đź“ŤExperience with monitoring tools (i.e. Icinga, Splunk, Kapacitor).
