Job Summary
WHAT YOU WILL DO
📍Design, optimize, and implement novel cross-chain transfer and interoperability protocols 📍Contribute to core technical projects of the Avalanche Interchain Messaging and the Avalanche Bridges, from planning through release 📍 Engage with our open-source community 📍 Develop automated testing suites and tools 📍 Support our Infrastructure team with new releases and production monitoring (on-call rotation)
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
📍BS in Computer Science or related discipline 📍 1+ years of hands on blockchain, consensus protocols, distributed systems, applied cryptography, or similar systems 📍 Golang or C++ experience (Solidity is a big plus) 📍 Strong understanding of blockchains and distributed systems (fee structures, transaction formats & consensus mechanisms) 📍 Hands on experience with cloud deployments (AWS and/or Azure) 📍 Experience with cross-chain protocols and smart contract development is a plus 📍 Cryptography is a plus 📍 Experience leading teams is a plus
