Job Summary
A Day in the Life:
📍Act as the go-to technical resource, assisting our clients with system monitoring, ticket resolution and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and availability 📍Work directly with clients on all cloud related needs including IaaS and PaaS 📍Work directly with clients on all virtualization needs including VMware and HyperV 📍Contribute to implementations of network and system security measures to protect data, software, and hardware 📍Gather customer data and use this data to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements 📍Work with clients on capacity planning, installations, patching, upgrades, configuration, and administration of systems on various physical and virtual platforms 📍Assist with other technical infrastructure support activities as required 📍Participate in group events and discussions with clients, vendors, and other system consultants 📍Follow the Long View and, where applicable, clients' change management methodologies
What you Bring:
📍3+ years experience in cloud computing technologies, including Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Windows Server and VMWare vSphere 📍Experience working in a hands-on capacity with the operational management of cloud-based technologies and solutions, VMware based virtualization technologies
Experience in some or all of the following:
📍Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, HyperV, O365, SQL 📍Site recovery, file services (Elastifile) 📍Log analytics 📍Recovery services - backup 📍Linux 📍Application insights virtualization 📍Terraform 📍DevOps 📍SCVMM, SCCM, SCOM 📍Software defined network (SDN) 📍Broad knowledge of multiple hardware and software technologies and strong experience in working with complex solutions comprising both 📍Ability to effectively communicate to different audiences, including internal stakeholders and peers, clearly and concisely in written, oral and various presentation formats and situations 📍Knowledge of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
