Job Summary
You will
📍Define the people strategy at Shakepay 📍Create and implement new company policies and improve current internal People Operations systems 📍Develop the protocols and metrics to measure and define success, and report on it regularly to senior leadership 📍Manage a team that develops and executes day-to-day people, talent acquisition and culture initiatives encompassing all aspects of life at Shakepay 📍Lay the foundations of all people & culture initiatives, including improving our performance management, continuous learning and manager training 📍Strategize how we continue to maintain and strengthen our culture as we grow
Must haves
📍8+ years of experience in People Operations, including at least 5 years in a managerial role 📍Mission-driven with strong communication and collaboration skills 📍Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into HR strategies 📍Proven track record as a senior leader, with the ability to provide robust recommendations, coach, influence and drive change at all levels of the organization. 📍An analytical mindset that thrives off of data 📍Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment 📍Deep understanding of HR-related compliance requirements and related employment law regulations in Canada
