Our global crypto team possesses deep experience in both the scaling of new ventures and the restructuring of complex assets with asymmetric risk profiles. Through lateral acquisitions, Echo Base seeks to leverage operational and technical synergies across our portfolio companies. We seek a highly motivated Senior Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team and report to the VP of Growth. This role is critical to driving user and revenue growth, focusing on acquisition, retention, and effective channel management.
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
šProvides expert legal advice to the CEO, executive team, and board of directors on various legal issues affecting the companyās operations, transactions, and business decisions. šLead legal documentation and legal operations, instituting scalable processes for reviewing existing and new products, services, and procedures while documenting all legal proceedings. šAdvise and collaborate with various teams (Product, Engineering, Business, Compliance & Risk, and HR) on diverse range of issues. šStay abreast of U.S. and international laws on crypto regulation, money transmission, financial services, privacy, data security, and consumer protections. šLead the company's legal disputes, litigation, and claims and collaborate with external counsel only when necessary and work to resolve legal matters efficiently. šLead corporate governance requirements and organize board and board committee meeting agendas and materials. šReview, negotiate, and draft various contracts, M&A documentation, agreements, and legal documents related to the companyās operations, partnerships, and transactions. šConduct legal research and analysis to assess the impact of new regulations and industry developments and keep management apprised for business planning.
Candidate Requirements:
šHave bachelors and masters degree(s) in Law or a Juris Doctor degree. šAt least 12+ years of work experience preferably with prior in-house work experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency and virtual asset industry. šStrong work ethic and multi-tasking ability with aptitude in problem-solving. šExcellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills and willingness to work under tight deadlines and pressure. šHighly motivated and able to function successfully in a remote though highly collaborative setting.
