CoinClan is a licensed & regulated cryptocurrency exchange company.

We are currently operating in Australia, the EU, the UK, Canada & Thailand. We trade on major crypto P2P platforms such as Binance P2P, and we are the largest crypto P2P merchant/liquidity provider in all of the countries and on all of the P2P platforms where we advertise and trade.

We have longer term plans to build our own platform. We are also now looking to expand our business to several other countries, such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Brazil, Mexico, US & more. Our vision is to make crypto access seamless, for anyone, anywhere in the world.

Job Description

As our fraud prevention & compliance specialist, you will: 📍Help us design new and update existing anti-fraud measures to prevent scams/fraud. 📍Help us perform all current and new anti-fraud measures, including calling customers who might be at a particularly high risk of being defrauded. 📍Research new trends and perform anti-scam analysis on our customers and their activity 📍Work with the compliance team to also filter out money mule scams which are also part of our anti-money laundering efforts. 📍Help with replying to our banks about our fraud reports. 📍Liaise with our banking partners regarding our fraud rates 📍Reduce fraud reports as needed by the bank, yet balance the need for our business to grow, and design procedures to reduce fraud just enough to keep our banks happy yet not overly hinder business growth. 📍If there is extra time during your working hours, help with our compliance and customer KYC, and enhanced due diligence tasks, but anti-fraud will be your main priority.

Requirements

📍Bachelor's degree or equivalent trading skills & experience(1 year of crypto experience OR 1 year of experience in B2C Fintech, blockchain, or other global technology companies(such as Google, Facebook, Airbnb, etc), or trading firms(such as Goldman Sachs). 📍There is nothing in your life that prevents you from monitoring fraud and being responsive to internal messages all your waking hours (14 hours), 7 days per week, which would include evenings and weekends, as most of our customers expect 24/7 service as crypto markets are open 24/7. Of course, you are not expected to sit in front of your computer after your working hours, but you also cannot leave everything completely unattended and need to help quickly answer some questions from our team regarding fraud to ensure a great customer experience. 📍Have a clear understanding of the common scams & fraud in cryptocurrencies. Ideally, you should know how P2P trading works, it is a smaller marketplace so we don’t expect you to have experience with it, but of course, it would be a bonus if you have experience. 📍Ability to work well in a very unstructured and fast-paced environment 📍Able to commit & deliver to the highest standards: Exceeding expectations is not enough. This person needs to know how to supersede even the highest of standards.
