WHAT YOU WILL DO:

📍Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely records of all financial transactions 📍Responsible for financial reporting for regulatory and compliance 📍Maintain P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, identify and research any large variances 📍Review and approve invoices for payment and resolve any discrepancies 📍Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations 📍Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely filing of returns 📍Support in any financial statement audits required for your entities under remit 📍Assist with establishing internal controls procedures and processes 📍Perform ad-hoc projects

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

📍Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, etc.) 📍5+ years experience in accounting 📍Preference for prior experience in crypto, fintech, or start-up environments 📍Ability to prioritize efficiently in a dynamic environment with constantly changing and competing demands. 📍Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, UK/EU GAAP, US GAAP) 📍Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite, Trovata, FloQast) 📍Interest in the crypto industry and awareness of the changes occurring in global regulations
