About the role:

Magna's goal is to be the one-stop solution for all token-based crypto companies who want to track outstanding and promised token allocations, automate the distribution of those tokens, and manage information about their stakeholders. Our mission is to make it easier for crypto companies to manage their tokens and tokenholders so that they can focus on their product and not custom internal tools and smart contracts as they scale.

Responsibilities:

📍Ensure BOMs and routings are complete for products. 📍Audit BOMs to actual floor performance. 📍Produce variance analysis of products on an ad hoc basis. 📍Collaborate with team in the preparation of complex financial reports. 📍Integral part of month/quarter/year end close activities and financial statements with detailed analysis. 📍Provide support to department leaders through financial and operational analysis and throughout the year and applicable budget and forecasting cycles. 📍Liaise with other department personnel. 📍Assist with internal and external financial audits. 📍Create journal entries and reconcile sub-ledgers for assigned accounts. 📍Other duties as required.

Requirements:

📍Accounting or Finance post-secondary education required. 📍Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment. 📍Extensive background in cost accounting and meeting deadlines. 📍Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, VLOOKUP). 📍Analytical skills backed by high proficiency dealing with data. 📍Ability to tackle loosely defined problems by asking the right questions. 📍Strong organisational skills, comfortable with multi-tasking and project management. 📍Experience conducting deep dive analysis with large volumes of data. 📍Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 📍Experience with Annual Audits (SOX, Year End, Government). 📍Ability to respect and maintain the confidential nature of the department.

Nice-to-have: 📍Previous experience working with PowerBI, SQL, Hyperion, Power Ledger, GSD system, and TraX.
