Responsibilities:
šEnsure BOMs and routings are complete for products. šAudit BOMs to actual floor performance. šProduce variance analysis of products on an ad hoc basis. šCollaborate with team in the preparation of complex financial reports. šIntegral part of month/quarter/year end close activities and financial statements with detailed analysis. šProvide support to department leaders through financial and operational analysis and throughout the year and applicable budget and forecasting cycles. šLiaise with other department personnel. šAssist with internal and external financial audits. šCreate journal entries and reconcile sub-ledgers for assigned accounts. šOther duties as required.
Requirements:
šAccounting or Finance post-secondary education required. šMinimum 2+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment. šExtensive background in cost accounting and meeting deadlines. šAdvanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, VLOOKUP). šAnalytical skills backed by high proficiency dealing with data. šAbility to tackle loosely defined problems by asking the right questions. šStrong organisational skills, comfortable with multi-tasking and project management. šExperience conducting deep dive analysis with large volumes of data. šExcellent verbal and written communication skills. šExperience with Annual Audits (SOX, Year End, Government). šAbility to respect and maintain the confidential nature of the department.
Nice-to-have: šPrevious experience working with PowerBI, SQL, Hyperion, Power Ledger, GSD system, and TraX.
