About the role:

Animoca Brands is looking for an enthusiastic Finance Intern to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to apply their academic knowledge to real-world accounting practices. You will work closely with the accounting team, assisting with a wide range of accounting tasks, and gain valuable insight into the financial operations of a growing business.

Responsibilities:

📍Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. 📍Support the month end and year end closing procedures by preparing journal entries and reconciliations. 📍Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records. 📍Process and verify employee expense reports in accordance with company policy. 📍Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records and documentation. 📍Provide support during audits by preparing schedules and gathering necessary documents. 📍Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required by the team.

Requirements:

📍Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. 📍Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles. 📍Strong quantitative and effective communication skills. 📍Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 📍Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 📍Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 📍Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and eagerness to take on new challenges.
