Job Summary
Your responsibilities
đź“ŤFinancial Management & Operations đź“ŤOwn AP/AR, bookkeeping, and monthly close. đź“ŤOversee invoicing, collections, cash flow, and treasury management. đź“ŤManage external accountants and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax laws. đź“ŤStrengthen internal controls and approval workflows to reduce financial risk.. đź“ŤContinuously improve and automate financial operations using modern tools and AI workflows. đź“ŤFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) đź“ŤLead company-wide budgeting and forecasting (annual, quarterly, rolling). đź“ŤBuild financial models for revenue and headcount đź“ŤProvide P&L visibility by service line, client, and project to identify margin opportunities.
Who you are
📍5–8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A, ideally with both Controller and strategic finance exposure in a consulting or knowledge services business 📍Experience with knowledge work businesses and metrics around utilization, billability, and productivity calculations 📍Strong accounting foundation, comfortable managing books, budgets, and audits end-to-end 📍Proven ability to analyze data, model financial scenarios, and clearly communicate insights to leadership 📍Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
