Key Responsibilities

📍Leadership and Management: 📍Lead and mentor a team of security engineers and site reliability engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. 📍Develop and execute strategies for improving security and reliability across all systems and services. 📍Set clear goals and performance metrics for the team, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback. Security Engineering: 📍Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security measures across the organization’s infrastructure and applications. 📍Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 📍Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and threat modeling to identify and mitigate risks. 📍Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices. 📍Site Reliability Engineering: 📍Manage the reliability, availability, and performance of the company’s services and infrastructure. 📍Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes. 📍Optimize system performance and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency. 📍Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and engineering practices to enhance system reliability. 📍Collaboration and Communication: 📍Collaborate with other engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure security and reliability requirements are integrated into all stages of the development lifecycle. 📍Communicate effectively with senior management and other departments, providing regular updates on security and reliability initiatives and performance. 📍Advocate for security and reliability best practices throughout the organization.

Qualifications

📍Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 📍7+ years of experience in security engineering and/or site reliability engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. 📍Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies, including encryption, authentication, access control, and 📍Proven experience with reliability engineering practices such as monitoring, alerting, incident response, and performance tuning. 📍Proficiency in scripting and automation tools, such as Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform. 📍Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker). 📍Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
