What you’ll do

📍As the Design Systems Lead, you will be at the forefront of our product development, ensuring that our design system remains innovative, efficient, and aligned with the evolving needs of our users and the broader web3 ecosystem. You will work closely with our Design Lead, Tech Lead, and client teams to manage and future-proof our design system, ensuring it supports the creation of cohesive, user-friendly experiences across all MetaMask products. 📍Increase Design System Adoption: Actively work towards increasing the adoption of the design system across all client teams within MetaMask. Monitor adoption rates and gather feedback to continuously improve the design system and its usability across teams. 📍Collaboration with Client Teams: Work closely with client teams to understand upcoming features and requirements, incorporating these insights into the design system roadmap to ensure seamless integration and implementation. 📍Enabling & Reporting Metrics: Establish key metrics for the design system and regularly report on these to stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions and continuous improvement. 📍Setting and Evangelizing Product Goals: Collaborate with the Design Lead and Tech Lead to set clear, achievable product goals. Evangelize these goals across the organization to ensure alignment and enthusiasm. 📍Product Backlog Organization & Management: Prioritize and manage the design system backlog, ensuring tasks are aligned with strategic company and client team goals. 📍OKR Management: Take full ownership of end-to-end Objective and Key Results (OKR) management, from setting objectives to measuring outcomes, ensuring they align with MetaMask and Consensys’ strategic vision. 📍Roadmap Ownership & Management: Own and manage the design system roadmap, ensuring it is always up-to-date and reflective of both current and future needs of client teams. 📍Initiative Management: Take ownership of project managing key design system initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, to a high quality standard. 📍Future-Proofing the Design System: Stay abreast of design system trends and the evolving web3 landscape, ensuring MetaMask’s design system remains innovative and sets the standard in the web3 design system space. 📍Team Leadership: Provide leadership to the team on execution of the roadmap and OKRs.

📍Proven experience as a Product Manager, with experience managing a design system. 📍Be comfortable and confident in making critical decisions that will impact the direction and success of the design system. 📍Strong understanding of both design and development principles, with the ability to align them with business goals. 📍Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a variety of audiences. 📍Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. 📍Experience in driving the adoption of new systems and processes. 📍Ability to measure and report on the impact of design systems. 📍A strategic thinker with a clear vision for the design system and its alignment with organizational goals.
