Job Summary
What You Will Do
📍Manage and rationalise both structured and unstructured data, integrating multiple data sources into a unified data platform that meets business and technical needs. 📍Consistently strive for strategic or optimal solutions, avoiding short-term fixes whenever possible. 📍Collaborate with both local and remote teams in defining problems, identifying issues, and developing work plans based on problem-solving principles and past experience. 📍Adhere to organization's existing data standards and design, assessing whether there's a need to expand or improve them based on local specificities. 📍Recognize the discrepancies between business requirements and data architecture, and suggest solutions to minimize or eliminate these gaps. 📍Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring effective communication and escalation processes across all projects. 📍Work closely with other team members globally on all data related tasks 📍Deliver a strong, easily maintainable solution that is designed to accommodate future needs and data volumes.
What You Will Need
📍Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience in a data engineering or related role 📍Experience in a Retail, e-Commerce, and CRM environment is a plus 📍Extensive experience working with SQL 📍Strong experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL 📍Knowledge or experience handling large datasets on cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift) 📍Familiarity with Tableau, Cognos 📍Experience with relational DBMS and Python is a plus (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) 📍Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
