Job Summary
About the role:
The Global Corporate Actions team at Fidelity is responsible for all aspects of Corporate Actions processing, including Income, Mandatory and Voluntary events. As a Corporate Actions Analyst, you will be responsible for the daily processing associated with Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions, assisting with co-ordinating the flow of required information between various stakeholders, including the Front Office, Portfolio Managers, Fund Accounting, Treasurer's Offices and Custodian banks.
Responsibilities:
šResponsibility for high quality soliciting of Voluntary corporate actions. šManaging the communication of complex corporate actions to internal stakeholders. šInteracting with many groups within the Fidelity organization and effectively representing the business to customers and business partners. šEscalating issues appropriately. šDemonstrating a strong team-work ethic. šDevelop the knowledge required to grasp product and processing rules while working under the direction of more experienced colleagues. šExplore and communicate new ways of improving existing processes. šRespond to research inquiries received from internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Requirements:
š1-2 years of relevant Financial Services experience. šMandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions processing experience preferable. šBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. šKnowledge of the key elements of Corporate Actions processing. šKnowledge of the Custody industry, Fund Accounting and Mutual Fund Operations. šAbility to manage multiple tasks effectively and identify and escalate high risk items. šStrong written and verbal communications skills. šStrong time management, analytical and problem-solving skills. šInnovative mindset ā you look for new ways to improve current processes and develop creative solutions.
