Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šSupplier Management: šConduct due diligence and risk assessments of potential and existing suppliers. šCollaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate supplier compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. šDevelop and implement supplier management processes and procedures. šSupplier Contract Management: šReview, draft, and negotiate supplier contracts to ensure compliance with legal and business requirements. šAdvise on legal terms and conditions, including indemnification, liability, and warranty clauses. šIdentify and mitigate legal risks associated with supplier contracts. šCustomer Contract Management: šReview and analyze customer contracts to ensure legal compliance and identify potential risks. šProvide guidance on contract negotiation and amendment processes. šCollaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure operational contract management. šLabour Law Advice: šProvide guidance and advice on labour law matters, including employment contracts, terminations, and employee rights. šAdvise on body leasing arrangements and compliance with relevant labour laws. šStay updated on changes in labour laws and ensure the organization's policies and practices are compliant. šCompliance and Legal Support: šDevelop and implement compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. šConduct compliance training and awareness programs for employees. šCollaborate with internal audit and risk management teams to identify and mitigate legal and compliance risks.
Requirements
šBachelor's degree in Law, International Law, or a related field. A higher degree or certification in Compliance or related areas is a plus. šProven experience in a Compliance & Legal role, preferably in a multinational or global organization. šStrong knowledge of legal topics applicable to the business, including Labour Law, Business Contract Law, Insurances, and Supplier Management. šExperience in conducting due diligence and risk assessments of suppliers. šProficient in reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts and customer contracts. šFamiliarity with compliance programs, policies, and procedures. šExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. šAbility to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions. šStrong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively. šAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.
