Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES:
đź“ŤWork closely with other engineers to increase system automation đź“ŤWrite procedures for system activation and maintenance đź“ŤSelect components, such as valves, pumps, piping, tanks, and filters, and provide detailed specifications for their purchase đź“ŤComplete design and drafting of schematics (P&IDs) đź“ŤInteract with vendors and resolve technical warranty issues đź“ŤInteract with other engineers to design the physical piping layout of the fluids systems đź“ŤAssist with advanced troubleshooting đź“ŤOwn and perform all activation testing with a small team of engineers and technicians đź“ŤProvide innovative solutions to problems while working with minimal supervision đź“ŤRepresent SpaceX by presenting certification packages and engineering data to U.S. government agencies including NASA, US Air đź“ŤForce and other DoD customers
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
📍Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, physics, or other engineering discipline 📍1+ years of professional experience working with fluid, mechanical, or low voltage electrical systems
