Job Summary
As a Cognyter you will:
šLead and develop a team of sales finance business partners, acting as a strategic counterpart to senior sales leadership. šServe as a trusted advisor to the SVP and their leadership team, aligning financial strategy with business goals to drive sustainable growth. šSupport the transition to a subscription-based offering, including designing new financial frameworks, redefining KPIs, and guiding sales and operations through the change. šAnalyze the sales funnel and pipeline to extract actionable insights, highlight risks, and support data-driven decision-making šOversee core financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, planning, and quarter-end close with high accuracy šOwn and present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with actionable insights and strategic recommendations for executive leadership. šProvide financial leadership on complex deals, including pricing strategies, margin optimization, and deal structuring. šDrive ongoing business analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to maximize performance and efficiency.
Requirements
For that mission youāll need: šAn economic degree or CPA (Certified Public Accountant). š10+ years of business partnership in a publicly traded company. š3-4 years of proven experience as a Business Finance Director. šDeep business and financial acumen, with the ability to model, analyze, and interpret financial data and reports. šExperience in a SaaS company is a plus. šStrong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and guide a team to achieve high standards. šSelf-sufficiency and a proactive mindset, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-growing environment. šExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex conflicts and facilitate resolutions.
