Job Summary
What You’ll Be Doing
📍Lay the foundation for Improbable’s treasury function by developing core policies, controls, and an operating framework that ensures strong governance across fiat and digital assets 📍Oversee liquidity and uphold runway targets through effective forecasting across Improbable and its ventures, ensuring coverage for both operational and strategic needs 📍Lead investment and capital allocation, optimising surplus fiat and digital asset deployment, assessing options and informing treasury-driven planning and decision-making 📍Provide oversight of digital asset positions and maintain exposure and risk in line with strategy 📍Manage USD/GBP exposure and design appropriate hedging strategies 📍Develop and execute crypto risk-management and hedging approaches for relevant digital assets 📍Own relationships with banks, custodians, and digital asset providers, and lead the selection and implementation of treasury tools that improve visibility and automation 📍Produce timely treasury reporting for senior leadership, including liquidity positions, exposures, counterparty risk, and investment performance 📍Contribute to broader financial strategy and operational excellence
Why You’re Made For This
📍You bring 5+ years of experience in Treasury, Treasury Risk, or similar roles, ideally gained in fast-growing, multi-currency or digital-asset-exposed environments 📍You have a solid understanding of both fiat and digital assets, covering liquidity management, FX considerations, and operational risks 📍You demonstrate expertise in developing policies, processes, and systems from scratch, establishing high-performing operational environments 📍You are confident in executing and reporting on capital deployment, yield, and risk metrics 📍A dynamic self-starter with a proactive solutions first approach to challenges 📍Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building structure in a rapidly evolving environment.
