Job Summary
Responsibilities
šSupporting the Business Development and Trading functions by advising on customer transactions, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreements relating to GSRās core business activities. šThese will include but not be limited to: šMarket making agreements šIn-house OTC trading agreements šISDA negotiation šLoan agreements šCustody agreements (including tri-party) šActing as a gatekeeper for the Legal Departmentās advice to the business on a wide range of legal matters, including regulatory, commercial, corporate, and operational, and escalating appropriately. šLiaising with external legal counsel to obtain guidance and reach resolution on highly specialised legal matters, local regulation, and licensing as they relate to the transactions on which you are working. šGeneral overall support to the Legal & Compliance team.
Your Profile
š5+ years Post Qualification Experience at a major law firm or an in-house legal department in the financial services industry is required. šUnderstanding of securities and derivatives law, with experience drafting and negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and/or one or more asset specific ISDA documentation framework(s) (or securitised analogs thereof). šExperience with a variety of underlying asset classes (e.g. credit derivatives, interest rates, FX, commodity derivatives, equity derivatives) is a plus. šExperience in crypto-currency markets is a plus.
