Job Summary
You Will
📍Analyze cloud spend and usage across AWS, GCP, and related platforms to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities 📍Build and maintain forecasting and cost models that support business growth and financial planning 📍Partner with engineering teams to improve resource efficiency through rightsizing, commitment strategies, and better usage patterns 📍Develop and maintain tagging, cost allocation, and chargeback frameworks 📍Explore and apply AI/ML techniques to improve prediction, automation, and insight generation in cloud cost management 📍Work closely with engineering, finance, and procurement partners on optimization initiatives, budgets, vendor management 📍Identify cross-team opportunities to improve pricing, licensing, and cloud usage efficiency 📍Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences 📍Translate complex billing and usage data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations 📍Build and maintain dashboards and automated reporting that highlight cloud efficiency, ROI, and FinOps maturity 📍Use automation and AI to streamline recurring analysis and reporting workflows
You Have
📍Strong analytical skills, including SQL and data analysis 📍5+ years of experience in FinOps, cloud cost analysis, financial analysis, or a related analytical role 📍Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and cloud billing models 📍Interest in applying AI/ML to analytics, forecasting, or automation 📍Experience with data visualization, scripting (e.g., Python), or infrastructure tooling 📍Exposure to large-scale or multi-cloud environments 📍Experience with cloud cost management and reporting tools
