Job Summary
You Will:
šReport the financial planning process for important products and teams; including building/maintaining and reviewing operating and financial models. šBe the primary Finance Business Partner (FBP) with key teams within our Square organization and collaborate across all levels and departments in the organization šSupport strategic decisions, including projects on pricing design, customer behavior analysis and economics, LTV / Return on investment of marketing efforts, market/competitive landscape benchmarking, and other data-driven analysis šCreate and/or review analyses that facilitates clear decision-making, mine data from our databases to predict short-term and long-term trends šEvaluate our performance; report the performance; identify any risks or opportunities associated with reported financial data šPartner with our Go-to-Market teams (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships etc) on strategy and execution with the aim of increasing the size and efficiency of our acquisition motions. šPartner with the International Accounting team on transactional and financial close matters to ensure accuracy over financial statement reporting šPartner with departments (e.g. Accounting, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, Sales and Marketing, and others) to report on the financial impact of decisions across the company šPrepare analysis and support communication to product leaders, board members and executive staff
You Have
š10+ years post qualified and relevant industry experience šA finance qualification or relevant working experience within strategy finance šExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skills šProven ability to lead strategic projects and make data-driven recommendations šProactively develop and implement financial strategies to support the growth plans šAbility to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines šStrong financial background; deep expertise in financial modelling and analysis and Excel (there will be a case study) šExperience with SQL / Hyperion
