What you’ll do

📍Own the full software development lifecycle: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, scalable brokerage solutions, ensuring reliability and efficiency for mission-critical financial systems. 📍Tackle complex technical challenges: Break down ambiguous and intricate requirements into actionable technical tasks, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance, security, and scalability. Balance trade-offs effectively: 📍 Navigate key engineering trade-offs, ensuring the right balance between MVP vs. enterprise-grade, time-to-market vs. long-term scalability, and other critical factors. 📍Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Product, Growth, and other Engineering teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and customer needs. 📍Contribute to the future of brokerage at Paxos: Play a key role in shaping the next generation of crypto brokerage solutions, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards for performance, security, and availability.

About you

📍7+ years of software development experience, with proficiency in at least one of the following languages: 📍Golang (preferred), Kotlin, Java, Python. Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design. 📍Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and tools, such as Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, and AWS services. 📍 Ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. 📍Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. 📍Experience building Compliance solutions (KYC, KYB, KYT) or onboarding or identity platforms is a huge plus. 📍 A passion for learning and applying new technologies to solve real-world problems.
