You'll join one of Aptos's engineering, research, or security teams and work alongside other engineers and researchers to solve complex problems. Whether you are building blockchain technology, programming language, or security, our interns are critical contributors to our Open Source products.

Projects you may be working on:

📍Blockchain technologies including storage and performance 📍Move programming language tools and fuzzing 📍Advanced research in cryptography, consensus, and parallelism

What we’re looking for:

📍You are pursuing a Master or Doctorate degree in 📍Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 📍You have strong computer science fundamentals (compiler, distributed computing, cryptography, etc) specific to the projects you are applying for in above. 📍For example, if you are interested in program language projects, you need to have in depth knowledge of compiler theory and design (compiler construction, parsing algorithms, and syntax tree manipulation) 📍If you are interested in security, prior experience (preferred but not required) in Semgrep, static code analysis, Move language or capability to learn a new language at a fast pace
