Job Summary
Responsibilities
šLead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test cases and frameworks for functional and non-functional testing šChampion quality practices within the team by advising on testability during design and implementation phases šDrive testing strategies across services, microservices, and UIs for large-scale distributed systems šCollaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers in Agile ceremonies to ensure test coverage aligns with business needs šContribute to the test planning and own the execution for assigned features or product areas, ensuring timely and high-quality releases šLog, prioritize, and manage defects using tracking tools like JIRA šAnalyse test results, generate quality metrics, and clearly communicate risks and issues šMentor junior QA engineers and help drive automation best practices across teams
Required Skills & Experience
šStrong coding skills in Java, Kotlin, or similar languages, with demonstrated experience building maintainable test automation code š4-6 years of hands-on experience in test automation and manual QA roles, ideally in Agile environments šProficient in using test automation frameworks and tools such as: šUI Testing: Selenium, Cypress, Appium šAPI Testing: REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI šBDD Tools: Cucumber, Serenity šDatabase Testing
