Job Summary
Core Responsibilities:
šManage and maintain Linux-based servers for trading, research, and operational workloads šAdminister and optimize AWS instances, networking configurations, and storage systems šAutomate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Ansible and related tools šMonitor system health, application performance, and infrastructure reliability with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and EFK/Loki šOversee and optimize storage systems, including CEPH clusters, ensuring performance, resilience, and scalability šManage networking components, ensuring low-latency and high-throughput connectivity for trading systems šManage the lifecycle of our Kubernetes clusters (deploy, upgrade, maintain, and decommission) šWork closely with developers and traders to integrate systems with trading applications and data pipelines šTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues across hardware, OS, network, and application layers šParticipate in capacity planning, disaster recovery design, and security hardening efforts šDevelop automation scripts, monitoring utilities, and operational tooling in Python (and optionally C++)
Skills and Experience
šRequired: šStrong background in Linux systems engineering, administration, and troubleshooting šHands-on expertise with Ansible for automation and configuration management šStrong Python development skills for operational tooling, monitoring, and automation šSolid understanding of networking concepts, routing, and low-latency optimization
