Knowledge, Skills & Experience
đź“Ť6+ years of network experience with firewalls, Load Balancers, routers and switches in both On-Prem and Cloud infrastructure environments. đź“ŤExpert level knowledge of firewall management, preferably with Palo đź“ŤAlto Firewalls and Fortigate Firewalls with a plus having Cisco ASA experience. đź“ŤExpert level understanding and experience with hardware/virtual load balancer administration and support, preferably with F5 BigIP, with a plus in managing Cloud load balancing such as AWS, Azure and OCI environments đź“ŤExpert level of understanding and experience with Zero Trust environments preferably ZScaler đź“ŤExpert level understanding and experience with routing and switching technologies. đź“ŤExpert level understanding and experience with 802.1q, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLAN, VXLAN, VRF, and BGP
Preferred qualifications include:
đź“ŤF5, Palo Alto, Fortigate ZScaler and Arista network certifications. đź“ŤExperience with network automation software such as Ansible Tower or Python scripting experience đź“ŤExperience with network data analysis such as analysis of NetFlow data. đź“ŤTechnical Lead experience or senior level escalations experience. đź“ŤExpert level knowledge of optical platforms and protocols a plus.
