Key Responsibilities
šFinancial Planning & Analysis: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to guide strategic decision-making and resource allocation. šReporting & Compliance: Manage all financial reporting, ensure tax compliance, and coordinate audits (both internal and external) to maintain transparency and accuracy. šControls & Policies: Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and accounting policies, safeguarding assets and ensuring accurate financial records. šCash Flow & Strategy: Optimize cash flow management and overall financial strategy to ensure the organizationās sustainability and growth. šStrategic Advisory: Work closely with the leadership team, providing insights and strategic recommendations based on financial data and industry trends. šRegulatory Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements in every jurisdiction we operate.
Key Requirements
šAccounting Firm Experience: Prior experience working at an accounting firm, providing a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial best practices. šStartup Finance Leadership: Proven experience serving as the finance lead (e.g., Finance Manager, Controller, or Head of Finance) at a seed-stage or higher technology startup. šBroad Skill Set: Demonstrated ability to handle a wide range of finance and accounting responsibilities, from strategic planning to hands-on bookkeeping and transaction management. šAdaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting to new challenges and wearing multiple hats as needed. šEducation: Bachelorās degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (advanced degree or MBA is a plus).
