Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
šLead the development of frameworks and metrics to quantify and track the health of our growth ecosystem šConduct deep strategic analyses and opportunity sizing to address complex growth questions that drive long-term user engagement šCollaborate with product and engineering teams to develop data-driven recommendations for improving onboarding funnels, retention, and deeper engagement across the app šPartner with marketing teams to analyze and optimize user acquisition strategies, providing insights to improve channel effectiveness and user quality šDesign and apply causal inference techniques to rigorously evaluate the impact of growth initiatives and inform strategic decisions šContribute to the maintenance and improvement of our data infrastructure and pipelines šHelp bolster our experimentation platform and oversee A/B testing processes šEstablish and promote data science best practices and methodologies within the organization šSupport various teams with data-driven insights and foster a culture of data literacy
Requirements
š4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, primarily on Growth teams or initiatives šStrong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and/or causal inference to guide decision making at all steps in the growth funnel šProficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools like Hex šExperience with experimentation and A/B testing methodologies šFamiliarity with growth metrics in mobile and/or consumer social products šExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders šBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
