Job Summary
What You Will Do
📍Design, build, and evolve the core backend services that power millions of Exodus customers' wallets. 📍Architect scalable systems that are fault-tolerant, performant, and secure. 📍Lead the end-to-end delivery of backend projects from inception to production. 📍Champion engineering excellence by writing clean, testable, and maintainable code, and setting standards for service reliability and performance. 📍Make smart, technical decisions that support our long-term vision while solving today’s challenges. 📍Collaborate closely with product, security, and frontend teams to deliver seamless, resilient user experiences.
Who You Are
📍You have 5+ years of experience building and maintaining backend systems in production. 📍You’re a Javascript Pro. 📍You’ve designed and deployed scalable, reliable infrastructure using cloud-native technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform). 📍You write clean, well-tested, and observable code, and advocate for best practices across engineering teams. 📍You care deeply about security, performance, and delivering an excellent customer experience. 📍You thrive in a remote, async-first environment and are self-directed and highly accountable.
